Frankly, it's hard to argue that either one of japanese and korean are useful to learn for anything besides personal reasons, unless you *know* you are going to work for japanese or korean companies.. I can't decide whether i want to learn japanese or korean. i'm exposed more to japanese things and have a general interest in japanese movies, tv shows video games etc so i feel learning japanese will be an advantage in that aspect however i don't want to learn japanese because i feel it's too popular now days and everyone is learning.
